U3600 Doubles Winners
Roanoke,VA—Saju Eapen, went undefeated, taking the Butterfly/ East Gate Open Series #3 Class A event, Saturday January 16th. Series point leader Chris OBrian of Raleigh, NC finished second. West Salem Table Tennis Club President Billy Marshall was third. Eastern Mennonite University track coach Lester Zook won Class B. John Williamson of Charlottesville finished second. Carol Kapsalakis won her first trophy taking Class C. Jason Johnson of Kane, PA finished second. Vince Green of Raleigh, NC and local chopper “Hoot” Gibson won the U-3600 doubles. VA Tech mining student Austin Shrewsbury and Williamson finished second.
The next tournament of the series is set for Saturday February 13th starting at 10AM.
