The 2008 Canadian Senior Championships ended July 13th in Halifax with YongJun Duan of Alberta defeating Pierre-Luc Hinse of Quebec to capture the Men's Singles title. On the women's side, it was the battle of Ontario as Sara Yuen faced Ai Guo to become the Women's Champion.

Sara Yuen also captured the Women's Doubles title with partner Stephanie Yuen while Pierre-Luc Hinse and Xavier Therien won the Men's Doubles title. Full results.

The Dominican Republic’s Juan Antonio Vila and Ariel Hsing of the United States concluded matters in first place in the respective Boys’ Singles and Girls’ Singles events at the Stag Panam Junior Championships, which concluded in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Thursday July 10, 2008.

The Aurora Table Tennis Club is a proud member of the Butterfly League Program. We just completed our Spring Table League with fifty-four players competing over the last eight weeks. League play is on Thursday Nights and players are placed into groups based on their club ratings. Ratings are adjusted each week and players who win their tables are moved up to the next table the following week. Trophies are awarded to the three highest finishers in each of five divisions.
